The largest non-metallic, magnet drive centrifugal pump in the world

 

The new pump series completes, for now, IWAKI’s range of magnet drive centrifugal pumps; IWAKI can now offer a total of 10 different series with capacities ranging from 2 l/m – 300 m3/h. The world’s absolutely largest magnetic drive pump programme.

The world’s absolutely largest magnetic drive pump MDW


This pump series has been named MDW; it includes 3 various pump sizes, rated in accordance with the chemistry standard ISO2858.

All wet-end parts are made of 100% chemically resistant materials, ETFE and PFA; IWAKI has more than 30 years’ of fine experience using these materials. Maximum motor size I 75 kW.

 

 

All test results are completely satisfactory

 

The MDW-series has been intensively tested throughout more than 3 years, and lately IWAKI has concluded a test of mass-produced pumps, all three sizes, for as long as 8000 hours’ continuous operation. All test results are completely satisfactory and the MDW-series has been released for sale in June 2009.
